PRIMARY SECTION AT A GLANCE The section is made up of two stages namely:
  • Key stage 1, with age range between 5-7 years
  • Key stage 2, with age range between 8-10 years
INTRODUCTION The primary section in BEAUTIFUL BEGINNING ACADEMY combine proper classroom programme which is individualized, creating room for differentiation so that students enjoy attending school. The differentiation method contributes towards building a positive attitude to education. In this section, children learn foundational skills that prepare them for life, work and active citizens within the globe ADMISSION Admittance into this section is after satisfactory completion of the kindergarten, a child is then qualified for the grades; however admittance of new learners is specifically based on age. The grades is the translation of the positive effect of the Montessori Method while in the Nursery, when they get to the grades, leaners absorb easily, they are quick to ascertain dimension, complete circle of activity with little or no supervision, adapt to any environment without distraction and  they are too coordinated at this point. CURRICULUM We run a hybridized curriculum which comprises of Nigerian / British curriculum; be that as it may, we copy best practices around the globe. In turn, our leaners cannot be a societal mis-fit wherever they are found. SUBJECTS  Subjects offered in the grades are:

  • Focus ( combination of history and national value)

  • Nigerian languages ( Hausa, Yoruba and Igbo)

EXAMINATION We prepare children for:
  • Primary checkpoint examination
TEACHING STAFF All teachers in the Primary section are graduates with core competences in their area of specialization. As a Cambridge school we are mandated to do courses on the British Council platform weekly and submit certificates for filing, this helps to promote our expertise in the job.
